I just read there is a new restaurant in seattle called Archipelago and it brought back fond memories of Wind Waker

It really is. Difficult though. It’s soooo atmospheric and scary.
But a real bastard to figure out

There are some chests in there I think. Nothing vital but I may be wrong.

Playing this off and on and it's still hugely rewarding. Made a big breakthrough last night in that I met one of the 4 big bois. This one was down in the desert. Gonna do a bit more questing before taking him on. On that, I could play shrine/trials all day--the team responsible for designing these puzzles needs a pay rise. At the moment BotW is a 9.5 for me. The only things I wish for are more durable weapons and a recipe book.
So far, so good on a blind run. I haven't read a lot of this thread due to potential spoilers/help. At times it feels harder than Dark Souls, and I love it.

There’s one of the buttons.
No matter the recipe or elixir could be amazing or awful, you can in the screen with all your weapons and gear and food, hold the button on any meal or elixir and it will tell you all the ingredients.
Sadly for all the amazing recipies and ingredients it won’t point you on the map to where you found them.
But why would it.
-* I can’t remember the button. The one under your right index I gotta think

Re: Zelda Games
Finished the Links Awakening remake this week. As someone who played the original so many times, I liked most of the improvements they made in the remake. Not just the button mapping but also avoiding a lot of useless dialogue boxes every time you bump into a block of ice or one of those blocks you can only dash through. It felt like they made some of the bosses more of a challenge which was nice too. I didn't bother collecting all the shells or heart pieces. I know they added a bunch more in this version, but once I got the sword upgrade I wasn't going to look around for the extras I didn't really need. The stuff with Dampe was ok, but got boring pretty quickly. I never finished all of it. I'd never played the GameBoy color version so the color dungeon was new to me. Extra defense or power wasn't really needed but I'll take it.
Difficulty level was low. Maybe it's because I was so familiar with it, but I really only got tripped up once on the trading quest trying to remember who I was supposed to give an item to and I only died once on an early boss.
Was it worth $60? Probably not, but as someone who loved the original so much I felt it was.
The new Tal Tal Heights theme is just as good as the original.

Re: Zelda Games
Sorta think the Gannon of it all would be more like the master sword trials rather than what it is.
Confront him in various stages and different forms and environments.
He’s not that easy because you’ve gotten better through the game. He’s just that piss easy to beat. Simple as that.
The weird horse lynel baddies are far far more difficult to defeat than him and they’re everywhere
Hope they fix this in the sequel.
