Gigaton sucks. Not sure what you guys hear that I don't. Two or three good songs but mostly bad. I hope Watt steers them back musically to the band they used to be.
the band that made Backspacer and Lightning Bolt?

that would be sweet!
There is not that much daylight (I think) between Lightning Bolt and Earthlings and even Gigaton. It's just that what that light is really matters.

Rank the albums.
I'm seriously baffled when somebody says Gigaton sucks.
I rank it last

Yeah, I think Gigaton was their best album since Riot Act.

Interesting what he says around 12.15 onwards........ About his type of groovy songs where Ed doesn't really responds to..

I didn’t listen but read what the substance was. Sounds like they are nowhere near done with it yet.

I liked that bit that he said about "still trying to make our definitive 21st century album" or something like that...
It's like he is saying that nothing produced by them post 2000 is/will be comparable from what they did in the 90s.
2 different bands. Kinda makes sense and I like that kind of approach and motivation.
But hey Stone, Riot Act is better than No Code, no worries

No Code is their best ever album, far better than Riot Act.

I will never fathom what the band doesn't like about Riot Act, but it's always worried me

No Code is definitely the best Eddie solo album.

Not solo, but he really shines on No Code. A fantastic Ed album.

I wouldn't be surprised if it has something to do with Roskilde.
