I can't explain how I'm hearing a Backspacer sheen to it all

it's like the guitar and vocals are dirtier, but the drums may as well be a track ripped from the same sessions

I think there's enough moderate PJ fans on this board to even things out. I am stoked that a bunch of RMers are all in on something PJ related. (knocks on wood).

The drum sound on Johnny Guitar is one of the most unpleasantly weird production choices I’ve ever heard.
