I think Vhagar is bigger than Smaug. Smaug might be able to charm Vhagar with his voice though

The internet seems conflicted on this but seems to land in the realm of “they’re about the same size”dimejinky99 wrote:Smaug is way way bigger than Vhagar mecca

Ancalagon the black was the biggest dragon in Middle earths history. Smaug looked like a little goldfish beside him. It was colossal.Mecca wrote:The internet seems conflicted on this but seems to land in the realm of “they’re about the same size”dimejinky99 wrote:Smaug is way way bigger than Vhagar mecca
I digress. Neither martin nor Tolkien ever defined their actual sizes so I’d take fanboys on the internet making stuff up with a pinch of salt.
I’d say Smaug was bigger than vhagar just going off what we saw in the hobbit movies tho.
Apparently there is one dragon much bigger than Vhagar and it might be in this series later. Let’s see though.

Balerion was the biggest in the series and Vhagar in the dance of the dragons is described as almost as big as Baleriondimejinky99 wrote:Ancalagon the black was the biggest dragon in Middle earths history. Did she say “rooks rest to defend her king” to the sea snake?

We miss all of the off-screen Bracken vs. Blackwood atrocities (not saying I enjoy seeing this stuff, but it's fairly important to the plot at this stage) and instead here's another 15 mins of Daemon tripping balls and dreaming about fucking his mum. Also, here's Alicent crying about no longer being the main character. Pretty wack episode tbh.

whole thing felt boring but hopefully a table setting episode setting everything up to come. Theyve been so clever so far with the writing and laying small details that payoff later, all that shit will matter by the end.
jayce being confident enough to leave his dragon way out and meet the freys on their precious fuckin bridge on his own, without having to land the dragon on their keep in the middle, Cole cleaning his sword with a fresh lemon while the people of kings landing are picking through rotten fruit for anything to eat, the dog following the cart with his dead pop on it
all that kinda attention to detail is the small stuff that matters. The big stuff will take care of itself.

I guess I need to remember that they killed Blackfish Brynden Tully off-screen in GoT. This is a minor misstep really.

Do you at least concede that they've overdone Daemon at Harrenhaal?

Re: House of the Dragon (2022, HBO2theMAX)
With the exception of the Jace scenes, it was dull and spent too much time with Daemon being a whiny bitch. It tread awful close to "girl power" at a few points as well.

Probably a little, but it could also be leading to some things later this season. I found the scene with the castelen and his cronies hilarious.Ello Sailor wrote:Do you at least concede that they've overdone Daemon at Harrenhaal?
