He's unquestionably worse than Peyton, Brady, Rodgers, and Brees. I would put him behind Eli, Big Ben, and Ryan as well. Luck is also rising up the list quickly, and RG3 might if he gets healthy. Romo would compete for me with the likes of Cutler/Stafford/Wilson/Kaepernick.

Romo has all of the stupidity of Favre with nowhere near the raw talent. I would absolutely take a Big Ben , Flacco, or Eli Manning over him any day. I'd take Alex Smith over him. A good qb who doesn't make stupid decisions beats Romo any day. Its not like he doesn't have any weapons on that team.

I think I'd take Romo over Roethlisberger...

Broncos are 28 point favorites over the Jags on Sunday...I don't think anything less than 35 would make anyone take Jacksonville

I talked to my friend who knows gambling last week about this - he said 24 1/2 and I predicted 28 1/2.

no? jacksonville put up 17 on seattle didnt they? so they might be able to put up at least that many on the broncos, so that would mean they would have to score 45. definitely doable but they may slow it down and that would let the jags catch the spread

I'd take Romo over Eli right now. Only reason to even consider Eli is because the Super Bowls...but those don't matter...Eli is terrible right now, Romo having a career yr.

While you're at it, you might as well say "good job refs"

That was some of the worst officiating I have ever seen.

Seahawks recover blocked punt for a TD but they call it a safety
Tate gets called for offensive PI when he didn't even touch the guy
Rice gets mugged on the last drive - no call
Browner gets flagged on a throw that wasn't catchable
No call against Reggie Wayne for offensive PI on a couple of plays including the 2 point conversion

Yes I'm a Seahawks fan , but I have seen a few national sportswriters bring up the officiating from this game.

I hate the whole pink October thing (because it's a just a big marketing sham) and I know they'll never stop it, but can we at least get rid of the pink penalty flags? I saw towels get confused for them a few times yesterday.

It really is ridiculous, isn't it. What team will be the first to bust out pink alternate jerseys?

I wish Clubber still posted here--I'd love to know his opinion on this.

I actually would not be surprised if the Broncos don't cover. That defense is battered up and they could let a few scores even by the Jags. Plus, Osweiler could very well get inserted if it gets out of hand early.

The pink flags are going away next week. I knew from the first moment that that was going to be a clusterfuck with all the other pink equipment.

And it really is pathetic how the NFL is using breast cancer prevention as a blatant marketing ploy. This is one of the very few things that I dread about sports in October.

I don't know why breast cancer gets all the attention. The NFL should just donate a shit ton of money to all cancer research, not just focus on one type.
