Sarabeth Tucek is a native New York lass who has previously released 2 albums under that name, the last being 12 years ago. She's re-appeared as SBT with a cracker of a double album titled "Joan of All".
I've been listening through headphones at work the past few days and it sounds so good. Production is totally on point, her voice is "rich and languid" and interesting, and the album itself kinda meanders along through a few different styles/sounds. The review I read had her influences down as "a bit of Velvets and a smidgen of Dylan, topped off with the steady, slow gravitas of Cowboy Junkies" and touched on comparisons to Neil's Down by the River and The Cure's 'Pornography'.
That all was enough to get me in and I'm glad I gave it a go. A fantastic full album listen that takes you on a bit of a trip, front to back.
Here's the first single from it The Gift. Starts all pop, ends all gothic groove.

kind of in love with "Ashen" by Humanity's Last Breath; I tried to find the Metal thread to write this in there but it's buried so far I gave up
this is the song that hooked me, it's that creepy Bulgarian choir

MJ Lenderman re-recorded a version of Knockin', which was on an EP he put out, titled Knockin', in 2021.
I love that he puts sports references in his songs.

New Mitski was good. Also liked the two Kills singles.
