That one is for the oscars, box office numbers wont matter much and they still could get a good one.
Really exited about it.

Surprised The Long Walk did poorly. Guess not everyone likes these movies. I no longer have my finger on the pulse of pop culture!

Materialists got 101 million globally.
Very fucking cool. I think its budget was around 20 million so it really found its audience.

One Battle After Another had a 54 million worldwide box offfice and a very strong Oscars tag.
Warner is killing it this year.

Markiplier's 'Iron Lung' Tops Friday Box Office, Quadruples Budget
YouTube creator Markiplier wrote, directed, starred in, and self-financed 'Iron Lung,' adapting the tense submarine horror game set in a blood ocean on a dead moon. The film, released January 30 on a budget under $3 million, earned $3.5 million from Thursday previews and $8.9 million to $9 million Friday, hitting No. 1 domestically with two-day totals over $12 million. Weekend projections reach $15 million to $17 million, while audiences give it 92% to 95% approval for its creeping tension, despite mixed critic reviews.

Sam Raimi's
Send Help ended up winning the weekend with $20M to Iron Lung's $17.8M.
And it's really great so I hope it gets good word of mouth and has some staying power. I want more movies like Send Help in the cinema

Demographics for tickets sold were 70+% older Conservative White Women. Mostly down south. Makes sense. $7 mill is pretty good for a doc. I imagine it will crater next week.

The doc had a budget of 40 million, and it seems 30 of those million were direct payments to Trump because of ¨legal fees¨ or something.
