The album is definitely too long. Not I really enjoyed it.

Bumping this because it got no traction and I think some of you would love it. Really unique mix of naturalistic production + more heavily treated FX. Textures and spaces for days, and her voice is lovely.
I'll give it a shot.

OK, going to my #1 spot for 2024 with a bullet...

David MacGregor fronts Scottish band Kid Canaveral, but I've actually never heard them. But as a solo act he trades as Broken Chanter and has put out his 3rd, Chorus of Doubt.

Hits my sweet spot of rousing indie and the Frightened Rabbit comparisons are a given.

The British Isles are fair killing it at the moment.

Here's "Something More Useful than Flowers".

If the rest of the record is of similar quality to the two singles then this will be a very solid release indeed.
I love em, can't wait

Mike Campbell & the Dirty Knobs - Vagabonds, Virgins, and Misfits - good old fashioned rock and roll. Never gets old.

WOW :heartbeat:
That was great.
On the strength of this I've gone back and listened to their 2021 album "The Last Exit" with fresh ears. Good stuff here. Looking forward to this new one coming out for sure.
This album is really great. Fits my mood perfectly this quiet Friday night. Great guitar vibes and her voice fits it perfectly.

Not sure if it’ll land here, but Nathaniel Rateliff and the Nightsweats’ new album is out today. Just listening now.

Edit: about 2/3 of the way through. It’s okay. The last one was much better. This more glides through. Picks back up on Call Me (Whatever You Like). But the middle of the album is fine.

A bit of a bummer. Was hoping for a rave review. I'm still excited to give it a go, just a little less now.
