yeah it's pretty good
I don't know, it's pretty good but not really any better than the best sections of any of the first seven records.

Yield is phenomenal. I wouldn't change a damn thing about it. Red Dot and Hummus are pleasant filler that still maintain the flow and mood the record. Take them out and I think it doesn't run as well.

Pilate is probably the weakest song but it's still great, and I adore that bridge.

I bought an original vinyl pressing about two weeks before they announced the reissues :haha: I paid £100 for it too, I was fuming. Anyways, it might be me hearing things but when I played it for the first time it sounded totally different to the CD. I don't even know how to explain, it sounds to me almost like they're all different takes of the songs. The differences are so subtle but it still sounds different to me. In a totally good way, of course.

With Backspacer and Lightning Bolt, we're lucky to get one or two really good songs from each record. On Yield, they're all top tier.

I found this on cassette today. The best purchase I've ever made b/c it came with this teeny, tiny, little lyric booklet.

i first owned it on cassette and it was damn near impossible to find all the hidden yield signs.

I started on CDs in 1994 or 95. The first three CDs I ever owned were Vitalogy, Purple, and Unplugged. Epic start to my new collection.

I had CDs before Yield. I just went to buy Yield at Quincy Records & Tapes and they were sold out of it on CD so I grabbed the cassette instead.

My brother had the CD player with a bunch of CDs so I never bothered to get any. When he left for college my first CDs were Binaural, Automatic for the People, and Blood Sugar Sex Magic.

Very nice.

Vitology, Facelift and Purple were my first few CDs - I also got one of the MTV Party to Go CDs at that time

I narrowed it down to AC/DC, Don Johnson or Michael Bolton - Time, Love & Tenderness. Bought the Bolton and Johnson albums... Next album I bought was Guns n’Roses - Lies, and then on to Metallica, more Guns, then Pearl Jam etc. But the first two were really poor.
