actually if i remember correctly in the original origin, the ooze that transformed them came from the same container that struck one matthew murdock in the head then fell down the sewer

No, but that's what I'm saying. They clarified, saying that the ooze was alien (not made in a human lab) but that the turtles themselves are still turtles that become mutated by alien ooze. It's news that's almost a year old.
