Steve Albini wrote:Whenever there's active promotion on the part of somebody else, whenever I see somebody all dolled up for a fancy photograph and someone's handing out flyers or whenever there's active promotion for something like that, as an imposition on my day, I hate all those people and I want them to fail. I have a visceral reaction to advertising and promotion. There's just something about salesmanship that grates on me on a very base level and I react very negatively towards it. I want those people to suffer and I want their enterprises to fail.
I think that, even if this season continues at its current (brilliant) trajectory, I can't call any season without Lorne Malvo the best. It just hit different.epilogue wrote:This season is making it's case for best of the series.

Season 3 was no slouch, either.

I don't mean to be overly harsh. But only one episode of that season has stuck with me. And Jessie Buckley's storyline is the only one I really remember.wease wrote:4 was a solid B.epilogue wrote:S1 (A+)

If it was set on the Kansas side of Kansas City, you’d have liked it better.epilogue wrote:I don't mean to be overly harsh. But only one episode of that season has stuck with me. And Jessie Buckley's storyline is the only one I really remember.wease wrote:4 was a solid B.epilogue wrote:S1 (A+)

I applaud Hawley for what he tried to do but he was out of his depth.
Still, Is be willing to change the grade to a B-
