I wonder how my White Sox are gonna hold up once they start facing some non-expansion teams. I'm very encouraged by how well my pitching staff has fared so far, but the Cardinals tomorrow will be a big test. Also, it'll be a nice opportunity to put the Birds in a big hole early on.

I feel like you guys underestimate how good the White Sox were before the Black Sox scandal.

I felt like I really needed to get some wins against other expansion teams, so the Rangers games hurt.

A lesser person would have taken the forfeits and run. You're too good a man for your own good.

Skitch had put together a San Francisco Giants-esque winning streak across multiple teams and tournaments. Before the Expos beat the Reds, I believe he'd won eleven straight games.

Wasn't Avila a big hero for you in the last tournament? And now he's hitting .600 in this one...

My bullpen has blown all 3 losses. I still feel pretty good about my team though.

If my team can go 3-1 over the next two days (Cardinals and Astros) I'll start feeling confident about their chances to finish in the top eight and get into the postseason.

I'm thinking if I can go 8-4 against the expansion teams (Expos, Blue Jays, Astros, Mariners, Royals, Rangers) and 10-8 against the old school, 18-12 should be good for a playoff spot.

if Kaline doesn't perform better tomorrow, he might be riding the pine soon.
