I watched the first two parts twice. The others I've only seen once so far.

I think Coop wakes up tonight.

If I was a betting man, I'd guess it happens in Part 9. But god, I hope you're right. We're so close!
For me, the real question is, how much will Diane have to do with his awakening?

It's been a few weeks since we've seen Doppelcoop, so another possibility is that we don't see Dougiecoop at all tonight. There's some potential for really great stuff if they try and use Diane to figure out what's going on with Doppelcoop.

Aw huh. I'm SO looking forward to seeing her interact with Dopplecoop. It has all the potential to be completely hilarious and equally terrifying. But I will be disappointed if we never get to see Diane interact with Dale Cooper. That'll be a bummer for many reasons.

I'm really curious to see how Diane and RealCoop interact. It's only been a one-way conversation until this point.

I hope they talk about the robins.

Maybe it really is a one-way relationship and she doesn't like him at all.

Maybe Coop forgot to put batteries in the tape recorder.

It would make sense that Diane would still have the tapes; that could be part of the process of getting Coop back. We'll see.

This was my favorite episode of the season so far.
- Spoiler: show
- - If you didn't know, the guy who played Doc Hayward is Mark Frost's father, who died a few months ago. I thought it was really touching that they saved his appearance for Father's Day. People are in such awe of the genius of David Lynch that Mark Frost doesn't get the credit he deserves.
- Jerry Horne is hilarious.
- Someone else on the interwebs pointed out that Cole's comment about the "spirit finger" also coincides with the same finger that Bob hides the letters in and is the same finger used for the formica ring.
- The black figure walking through the hall at the morgue freaks me out.
- My only complaint was the lack of a band at the Bang Bang Bar. I've grown to look forward to hearing new bands!

I have a visceral reaction to advertising and promotion. There's just something about salesmanship that grates on me on a very base level and I react very negatively towards it. I want those people to suffer and I want their enterprises to fail.

No Ed yet. Are you familiar with the show at all?

As good as the bands have been, the closing credits this week were perfect. I can't think of a more Twin Peaks scene than hearing "Sleep Walk" playing over a mid morning rush at the Double R.
This was such a satisfying episode on many levels.

Episode 2 of season 2 got me back on a music hating kick for this show. When Bobby and Shelly are in the car and they turn it to blues muzak, JFC, I cringed. Other than the sometime shitty music, I'm loving the FBI guys. Miguel Ferrer was great.

- Spoiler: show
- The figure at the morgue was the same as the one in the jail cell where Matthew Lillard was, no? The log lady presumed husband who was seen above the convenience store at one point.
Also, If bad coop was known to visit Audrey is that their kid? Can't think of his name.
Lots of new open stories too: Andy's Detective work, who's bing? , do we know who bad cop was talking about when he was speaking to the prison sheriff?

1. That was my guess as well.
2. That's something I have wondered too! It might be why they made a point to explain that Dopplecoop was traveling west when he had his accident because that connection would certainly be a reason.
3. Andy's guy looks like the Dougie version of Dave Grohl.

Yeah, the black figure wad the same from the jail scene. A lot of people have been speculating that Richard is Audrey & Dopplecoop's son since we learned his name. I think it's very likely but I also hope that's not the answer. Just because it seems so obvious.
And guys... I HAVE to know what's going on with Andy. That shit was so weird!
