I'm tempted to watch the first-person video of the guy shooting the reporter, but I don't think I'm going to. I should have learned my lesson by now.

I watched the first 5-8 seconds, then shut it off (nothing much happens in that timeframe except him creeping up on them). I've seen some graphic videos on the internet before, like we all have, but never from the POV of a murderer; it's just on another level.

When I was a teenager - at the height of how jaded and cynical I thought I was - I watched a VHS tape of a cheap movie that collected a bunch of real life death videos. That was a very formative experience, and I learned a lot about myself. I don't think I need to see any more.

I have no real interest in seeing this video, but I do think shooting videos that were captured in a public space should be made available to the public.

Huh. Maybe I'm misremembering the title then (although, at 15, we probably all believed Faces of Death was real). From what I remember people explaining, it was mostly security cam footage of robberies, people getting hit by trains, and etc.

There was a lot of misinformation around it, which is part of what made it so infamous. A lot of people thought it was real, but in the end, it was basically just a horror movie with a notorious reputation. However, Traces of Death came soon after, and that was real.

Wave the white flag on the War on Drugs. Legalize most/all drugs. Take the trillions the US Gov't is pissing away and use that money to bolster our health care and educational facilities. Let's help and treat people at the source. I think that will do a much better job.

i think i could watch the video if the people shot were criminals. but two innocent people being murdered like that is beyond my curiosity level

It should be MANDATORY from hence forth, that there will be security to watch their backs when performing live news. This could have been avoided if someone had their eyes turned his way.
