I was terrified too but managed to download the BOTW DLC packs straight to my switch. Had to add my card details but I deleted the details soon as I did.

you can download the snes app now from the eshop, go to "nintendo online" on the menu to the left of the eshop main screen, you'll find it there

it doesn't come up if you just search the eshop, but if you go to the nintendo online section of the eshop you'll see it there

I had to send mye blue control in because of drifting. They fixed it for free on the guarantee. I'm still not sure it's quite 100% though.
