Re: Upcoming concerts
Gov’t Mule was awesome. Sad to say that due to length we could not stay until the end (needed to relieve the baby sitter). We lasted 3 hours and left after a great cover of Come Back (Pearl Jam). We would have held out if we felt they were winding down but there was no sign of it. Great show!

Re: Upcoming concerts
I saw Modest Mouse last night, and while I give them tons of props for having all of the instrumentation done completely live (at one point there was 9 or 10 people onstage) and playing a long set with 2 encores, their setlist left a lot to be desired IMO.
They played tons of B sides, like more than Pearl Jam usually does, and a lot of those I’ve only heard one tome before this. I know for sure I’ve only ever heard Never Ending Math Equation and Whenever You Breathe In, I Breathe Out (Positive/Negative) once ever before this. They also played 6 songs off their most recent album and that one didn’t do much for me at all.

Well Royal Blood was a blast - had a great time!
Feeling a bit under it this morning though. Got home around 11pm and then from 1am my daughter was awake off and on screaming

A buddy described Royal Blood to me as "watching a band play Go for 100 straight minutes"Rangi Guy wrote:Well Royal Blood was a blast - had a great time!

Maybe not quite that intensity the whole show, but pretty damn close. Pretty amazing for just two geezersBammer wrote:A buddy described Royal Blood to me as "watching a band play Go for 100 straight minutes"Rangi Guy wrote:Well Royal Blood was a blast - had a great time!

Re: Upcoming concerts
Today when I went to pick up my morning coffee the barista had a stack of giveaway GA tickets for the Fleet Foxes show downtown. So, I guess I’m going to see Fleet Foxes tonight.
