I see that Bells is doing a very limited run of Black Hearted on Valentine's Day.
One of you needs to go try it for me and report back. And I want DETAILS.

Bell's Brewery, In. wrote:Black Hearted will only be available on draft at Bell’s Eccentric Cafe and in 12 oz. bottles packaged in 6-packs at the Bell’s General Store.
How many Michigan individuals do we have in here, one?

I would imagine it is a mix of Untappd and brewery staff but they keep editing the database enough to drop my total of unique beers had, I wanted to end on a round number goddamnit.

Heh shouldn't be necessary, just wish I knew what it was; possibly vintage related I suppose. Oh well six brews to check in for # 3500... again. Wish I realized this yesterday for Groundhog Day plus I could have knocked them out after my shift.
edit: Apparently it was exactly this, there is a 'Beers Merged' tab as you drill down. Ah well, now it's eight more to go.

Coronavirus has resulted in all the breweries around here (CT) letting you pay online and then they just bring it out to your car.
So, not much to do these days but take a ride and collect good, fresh craft beer. Silver linings...

Ponysaurus Brewing in Durham is pretty amazing, but $60/bottle? Woah.

Not all, of course, I'm exaggerating. But enough. Really enjoying the offerings at Counterweight in Hamden, and 12% beer project in North Haven.
New England Brewing is doing this too (and then some smaller ones in the Cheshire/Wallingford area where I live). Not sure how close you are to these places.

I'm in Branford. I wonder if the current state of things has altered Matt's moving Counterweight to Cheshire, I haven't been there in ages. I know the kids at Front Porch started with the pick-up pretty early on. It's a fairly scary time to be a smaller brewery, well evidenced with some of the numbers that are coming back. This figure is a few years old (and from memory) but I seem to recall over 80% of craft sales were from establishments brewing under a thousand barrels a year. The number may have been different but with 46% of current craft breweries stating they won't make it to years end unless something changes very, very soon kind of backs a higher percentage of the market like that.

Rough times all around, yea. I was so excited to hear Counterweight was moving up to Cheshire (I live here in Cheshire).
Would really suck if it falls through.
