I need closure. I won't judge you for reading a dumb book just to please a rich neighbor. I've read and done a lot of dumb stuff to please a lot of dumb people over the years

If you tell me the book, I will will admit the truly dumb thing I did last night to please a dumb person. It was hellish and expensive and I'm honestly ashamed of myself a little bit. I'm not even going to get laid over it. I was not going to post about it ever, but if you tell the book I'll admit it

Just no one out there writing crime/noir at this level. Tana French is just outstanding. And I'm THRILLED to be reading the third book in her Dublin Murder Squad series. The first two were lights out. So far, this one has all the promise in the world. Just 40 pages.

You don't have to, no. It's a series but it's not necessary to read in order. It's about a department. Each book has a different character as it's central protagonist.

Resurrected my old Audible account. No longer a subscriber but I've got two books in the library I never got around to. Kinda wondering if I should renew after I get through these. Seems expensive, but so convenient.

It is an interesting read. Feels longer than 120 some odd pages. I did like it but I'm not sure I'm fully getting it.

It is an interesting read. Feels longer than 120 some odd pages. I did like it but I'm not sure I'm fully getting it.

I think that's fair. I think for me it was a lot about atmosphere, which is excellent in all three parts.

I loved the final tape, though. Felt like reading a David Lynch movie in the best way.
