That guy’s (Dan’s) voice is the problem for me. I’ve tried with 2 albums.

An unfiarly maligned album.darth_vedder wrote:Not necessarily playing now, but here are artists and albums I've listened to over the last few weeks:
Aerosmith: Night in the Ruts
I do enjoy them. Only recently got into them.Brett wrote:Hey, dad, I didn't know you were into Duster.
Cool. I got into them a little over a year ago just before their reissues came out. I haven't really checked out much other slowcore, but Numero Group, who put out the reissues, seem to specialize in the style. I've heard a little bit of Codeine, a little bit of Bedhead. There's also Valium Aggelein who are Duster under a different name. It's basically an outlet for their more nocturnal, introspective, and post-rock type stuff. Supposedly Numero is putting out a box set for that stuff in the fall.dad wrote:I do enjoy them. Only recently got into them.Brett wrote:Hey, dad, I didn't know you were into Duster.
If you have any recommendations for slowcore bands like them I'm all ears.

Numero group has put out some great stuff as well, specifically Duster and Unwound. I know I've listened to Helvetia (Duster member side project) as well, and really like them. I'll have to check out Valium Aggelein.Brett wrote:Cool. I got into them a little over a year ago just before their reissues came out.
