The sequel looks amazing.
I'm worried the sequel is trying to do too much. Sometimes I just want to play a straightforward open-world action game.

definitely an issue. Zero Dawn was straight forward but still epic. Hard to capture that.

Nope. Not yet at least.
Yes.
Yours got cancelled?
No, I just read that they are cancelling all orders that were placed.

Curious as to where you read that. I saw a story on Kotaku that some orders were cancelled, but many were confirmed and the official Wal Mart Twitter account said congrats to a few people who ordered them.
They could easily cancel them later, but I think it would be a bad PR move for sure.

Contrasting this game with the Batman games (which share a lot of the same mechanics) also doesn't really help it out for me.
start watching at 5:36 and tell me thats not memorable
i may be biased but this shouldnt have been bottom paged

I was thinking after hearing some podcasts talk about the N64 Classic that Nintendo could put some 64DD games like Dojin the Giant, F-Zero X expansion, or even Mother 3/3.5 on it. I mean they brought Starfox 2 out for the SNES Classic so why not?

Wasn't the only great game for 64DD, LoZ:OoT Master Quest which was released on GameCube as a freebie?

So, big surprise, Super Metroid is really great. I'm trying to do with a guide and my mind is not in the right place for playing older games. So little hand holding. I've become a weak.

I liked Super Metroid, but still prefer the original.

The original is a solid B, definitely limited by the hardware at the time.

Sure, but how many people do you know with a GC?
I also wonder if they will build rumble into the controller or not.

Gamecube has a great library and one of the best controllers of all time.

I'm glad I kept it. I used to trade in and sell all my games back then I don't have any of my PS or PS2 stuff anymore. I get a real hankering to play Indiana Jones and the Emperor's Tomb sometimes and its never gonna happen now. I figured if I ever had kids they might want to play the GC so I kept it which was some epic planning ahead.
