I drove by a place today that has a cluster of fast food places and the drive thrus were backed up out on to the main road and blocking traffic

The people testing positive for the virus after recovery aren't infectious, they are only shedding dead virus. So that's good I guess.

Yes, I am aware there was statistical misrepresentation the first part of the month but I am surprised as anyone that the numbers have not gotten worse. Other than live entertainment all remaining restrictions are expected to be lifted June 1.

It'd be important to know what people are doing in terms of their personal actions; are restaurants open but empty?

I feel like the most likely scenario so far, looking at all that's occurred, is that the virus had a chance to spread widely in NYC and didn't have that opportunity throughout most of the rest of the country. Which is good now, but it's worrisome that this sets the country up badly if there is a stronger recurrence in the fall if they haven't prepared for it.
