Well the "pause" on the Mexico tariffs might mean that Trump just wants to make a deal of some sort to take a victory lap before tariffs actually go into effect. That's best case scenario IMO.

Weren't the supposed tariffs not going in to effect until mid-to late month anyway? If they are in fact in violation of the the current trade agreement, which seems to be more the avenue Trudeau is advancing, is it not all simply wreaking havoc? I have received half a dozen e-mails from vendors, all with very varied language, basically because they have no idea what the fuck is going on... other than costs will rise. I am sure this is triggering some COVID post-traumatic stress in many, especially at the manufacturing level.
