You will never, ever, ever re-listen to it? Did we just witness....

what about sirens?
it makes sense both were included on the record given ed's enthusiasm for abortions
Which do you find worse? I think its Sirens by just a bit, but Future Days is so so bad too...
please, don't make me think about either
Any reviewer worth his salt would give the album at least 3 spins.

Nah, man. "Go".
This is actually the reason I find Porch kind of boring. It's just an excuse for a minute-long solo.

He is non existent to me on the record.
Must make note of my love of his work in yellow moon. It's controlled and extremely melodic. My favorite work since his I AM MINE solo.

I'm not a solo fan, but... All or None.

Seriously, they're nothing special at all
Only redeeming factor is the chorus lyrics changing up, I find that an interesting song-writing technique
The lyrics are mediocre on this one. Cliches abound (ship sinking, slipping through hands, all good things come to an end, hearts and minds). Mostly though I dislike the vocal delivery during the chorus. Too over-the-top. Vocally and lyrically, only the bookends work for me.

I wasn't a fan a big fan of his solos on this album either. But he did pretty nice work on MYM and Swallowed Whole.
