And D Herp sealed the game with a J with 20 seconds left. That was definitely a good one.

Every time I open this thread I've missed like a two page conversation that has ended. :gomez:
Basically it is just about Lebron sucking, Curry having a little boy's face/body and Peeps hates verb.
Pretty much.

Kobe is obviously a joke, but Aldridge doesn't deserve to be on the All-Star team either. Neither does Isaiah Thomas.

Isaiah Thomas has the stat line but he doesn't pass the eye test. I haven't seen much of Aldridge this year so I'll take your word for it.

Isaiah is a shit defender. And can be super sloppy with the ball.

The Lakers are an abomination. The game has completely passed Byron Scott by.

YOU SHUT YOUR MOUTH WHEN YOU'RE TALKING ABOUT ISAIAH THOMAS

I guess he's just the second player ever under 5 10 to be an all star.

What are the odds the Lakers win the lottery?

I will admit that my Isaiah Thomas comments show my personal bias against volume shooting guards, who play poor D and turn the ball over a lot. From a numbers perspective, he clearly has a good case.

Aldridge on the other hand is strictly a case of... "Well, the Spurs have to have 2 All-Stars."

The Vertical launched today. Too bad it is on a site that is really tough on the eyes. Yahoo sports is a terribly designed site.

I find it infinitely better than ESPN.com

When does Zach Lowe's contract with ESPN end? I'd like to see him unshackled somewhere like this.

ESPN has a cleaner look, but is just as cluttered. I can't stand the giant Amazon ad on the top of every article on Yahoo and the dozen links to clickbait on the bottom. Right now my ads are of toilets because I just bought a new one.

4/5 is there any truth to the Lebron trying to get Spo fired story? I saw Riley was trying to dump cold water on it. Spo is in the top half of coaches in the NBA easily. GM Lebron is a total moron.

GM LeBron is totally sabotaging player LeBron.

Regarding this specific story there doesn't seem to be much truth to it. The minority owner who told it is apparently persona non grata around the team. I'd never heard of him before his quotes. Supposedly Arison hates him and has tried to buy him out for years, but he won't sell. There is a team policy of not talking to him. He has nothing to do with any of the day to day activities of the organization and he would really have no way of knowing that something like that occurred even if it did. And he's a guy who is known to greatly exaggerate his importance, which is probably what was happening here. He was on the radio in Israel getting interviewed about Blatt and decided to insert himself in the story by piling on the "LeBron is a bad guy" narrative.

So that story is probably BS. At the same time I have no doubt that one of the main appeals of Cleveland was that LeBron would have all of the power and clearly Riley had no intention of empowering him the way he wanted to be.
