Going to be a big week. WWE better than in a long time, and ppv week for both AEW and WWE.

Right, and that relevant detail is left out of the story that leaks 5 months later amidst a blitzkrieg of similar leaks that build to a narrative that Tony K has lost the dressing room.

For as much as I carry water for AEW, this doesn’t feel like a go home week for their big PPV. Is it because I skipped Rampage? Last time I felt meh about a show was Forbidden Door and they knocked it out of the park.
I fully expect a banger in the trios tournament tonight and would be absolutely okay with them building Ospreay with a win, because the payoff of Omega vs Ospreay will be worth it. I feel like the money is on Dark Order vs Elite to advance Hangman’s story

According to Cornette and Brian Last, during the talent meeting in AEW, Omega held a speech that was badly received. He was quoted as telling the wrestlers: "I wouldnt have hired 8 out of 10 of you."

that sounds like something The Cleaner would say, not Kenny Omega

True. But he was up there speaking as an executive vice president.

I meant Kenny Omega as in the real person, Tyson Smith. Don’t know shit about him, but that type of thing doesn’t track with what other people say. Cornette hates him so I don’t put much stock in anything he says about Kenny.

I know that, I listen to Cornette every week, and Omega is my favorite wrestler in AEW.

Even with the drama around it, Wardlow got that crowd hot and it carried through the rest of the show

There is no point in even discussing what Cornette says about AEW, I respect the guy’s resume but nothing he says Omega should be taken seriously. He’s called him a child predator before for Christ’s sake.

Yeah this feels like Forbidden Door for me as well, other than Mox-Punk I’m not really pumped for anything but I expect a great show regardless.

Cornette is insane, but what a character. I can appreciate anyone who loves their craft as much as that guy. Batshit crazy, though.

So this week, WWE worked Matt Riddle’s rape allegations into a storyline, and then new allegations against Riddle emerged. This is happening in the backdrop of the company’s CEO and head of talent relations being forced out of the company for sexual misconduct. So what did the podcasts and you tube channels talk about all week? Eddie Kingston beating up Sammy backstage and whether or not Tony Khan has lost the dressing room by signing too many people.
It’s absurd.
