I really like the song "Sweet Illusions" by Ryan Adams but I think it's hilarious that there's a verse where he fills a line with just the word "thaaaaaaanks"

Also, John Darnielle is a remarkable lyrics, but I find him frustrating as a songwriter because he tends to default to the same melodies and chord changes over and over and over again. I still fuck with Tallahassee though
