i swear everything they brought to our table was incredible.

the fried milk is easily one of the best desserts i've ever had.

Spike’s correct about the air fryer. The best thing we ever used it for was crisping up Five Guys fries when we got them home. It’s better than eating them at the restaurant.

I’m not against cold at all, just urging Doug to take advantage of this opportunity to experience air fryer magic.

Hot fried chicken is objectively better than cold fried chicken (which I have now tried and thought was just ok)

I’m not against cold at all, just urging Doug to take advantage of this opportunity to experience air fryer magic.

i really like air fryers, but they can be impractical. they can be hard to clean, and they don't really accommodate more than two portions (which pretty much eliminates them if you're cooking for a family of four unless you want to make two batches of things, which is time consuming).

You may just have the wrong air fryer. Ours is super easy to clean, and you could toss nearly an entire bucket of chicken in there (I don’t listen to the advice to not pile pieces on others, they fry up just fine… and that would make it somewhat impractical).
