Im kinda sad on Anna being relegated to tv. And this project seem, like you say, confort food. She was better than this. Her last movie is from 2018, and its A Simple Favor.

I hope she bounces back.

I don't really see TV as less than. I just want her to keep working, regardless of the medium or format.

One good thing about Love Life, though, is that it's the first time I haven't hated Scoot McNairy. So... there's that.

I mean yes it is really funny but what really elevates it is the sweetness of its writing and how it very skillfully and believably develops its characters. Glad I didn't give up on it after the humdrum first few episodes.
