I don't know what's more sad, the fact that Jason Hanson is retiring or the fact that one of the greatest Detriot Lions of all time is a kicker.

I think the real tragedy is that there is no longer going to be a player in Every Madden game any more

Odd quirk about the preseason schedule: the Broncos play against all four of the NFC West teams. I wonder if that's ever happened before, one team taking on an entire division like that.
Also, with the regular season schedule upcoming, the Broncos have quite a few intriguing matchups that should get them plenty of primetime games:
@ NYG (Manning Bowl III)
@ NE (Manning vs. Brady XIV)
@ DAL (Highly likely to be on Thanksgiving)
vs. WAS (Shanahan's return)
@ IND (Manning's return)
@ HOU (Kubiak connection is always fun)
vs. BAL (Playoff revenge--it may also be the very first game of the season)
Then of course, the Dennis Allen/Mike McCoy connections will likely get a rivalry game or two in a good TV spot.
Any interesting games for your teams out there?

The Falcons have a few games that I think could get picked for primetime:
@San Francisco
@Green Bay
SEATTLE
NEW ENGLAND
My guess is 2-3 of the above plus one of the Saints matchups. The Redskins come here but I doubt that will be a national game.
Seems like every presesons is some mix of Jacksonville/Cincinnati/Baltimore/Miami. Of course I get their reasoning. It's tough for those western teams with extra travel time.

NE/ATL should be a really, really good game.

I would love the Emmanuel Sanders move the Pats are making if they were signing him to a multiyear contract. But why risk losing a 3rd rounder for a player that might leave you after only one season?

Because Sanders is a weapon, they view WR's as disposable, and let's be honest if that 3rd round pick were a receiver, Belicheck would pick someone who would never pan out.
Also, it weakens the Steelers, whom they usually face in the playoffs.

Schedules come out Thursday. They've been released right before the draft the past few seasons.
