Ed sounds wonderful on Inside Job. Not just by 2016 standards, but just in general. Nice, controlled performance with delicacy in all the right places. I'm really impressed.
Release sounds pretty rad too. It continually amazes me that he can still nail this one most of the time, 27 years later.

saw this at a drive in last night. people were tailgating beforehand, and cheering and singing along during, as if we were at a show.

Listening to the soundtrack on PJ radio. Eddie sounded good on Low Light! But whose the moron in the band that does the background vocals ? Is it Stone or Matt? The live background vocals on Low Light are awful.

First Stone with the guitar, now Jeff with the backing vocals. At this point who won't let mikejasonda down?

The band will let mikejason down, one by one, until he loses all faith. eventually, more and more musicians begin letting him down. his disappointment bleeds into his personal life, as family members, friends, and role models let him down, one frustrating loss at a time. until, one day, he's lying on his death bed and he realizes that was – indeed – his own expectations that led to so much sadness. in this moment, he looks into the mirror and points at himself, yelling, "YOU! YOU LET ME DOWN!" He lays back onto his pillow and closes his eyes one last time.
