I don't mind the Avocado cover, but the monster artwork should be deleted from history.

The only thing more annoying than PJ becoming the new Green Day will be all the dumb middle-aged white men making fun of youth

I've given this a few listens for my first time hearing it...got through it 3 times before switching it off. My understanding is it is the Christmas single AND it is off the new record?

There's a lot going on in this - not a fan of Ed's attempt at "eeeeeeeees" in this but it's punchy, riffy and has swagger / somewhat of a fabricated attitude. It's certainly miles better than the first time that I heard Worldwide Suicide, The Fixer and that godawful Ole.

Mind Your Manners was punchier but I reckon this is more radio friendly (if it gets picked up by anywhere). It would have made a nifty b-side, would be my end assessment - you can hear the limitations in it for sure.

PJ prior to 2003 is surely dead and buried but this is ok. I'd rather this was what people heard of Pearl Jam these days than Sirens / Parachutes / Ole / Better Days / Our Future Days.

After Ed's voice breaks in the 2nd verse, the guitar on the right side comes in and mimics it. Stone always gets the last laugh.

Yes, modern PJ doesn't get any better.

The song doesn't do much for me. Can't imagine why they make the vocals so prominent in the song, they're just not that good.

do you think 10 club will have reserved seating for the Pearl Jam rock operetta/musical that's based on their forthcoming/upcoming album?
