I went weeks in Red Dead without doing a story mission at one point.
Have you ever played Breath of the Wild?
No, but I really want to. My girlfriend has it but won't let me play it cause she doesn't want anything spoiled until she's done, which is fair. But I know I'd love it.

It is the best open world game of all time. The level of exploration and experimentation exceeds even this game. I hope you can play it, and soon.

Recently started a replay and it occurred to me that Dutch looks and sounds like Mike Lindell

If rumors are true, the next-gen release of RDR2 has been cancelled / put on hold. Rockstar is going all hands on deck for GTA6. I’m still surprised this wasn’t a launch window game. See what happens when you’re patient - I missed a gem. :?

I have fond memories of playing this during the early days of the COVID lockdowns. Only got about halfway through that save file.

Yeah this is unfortunate if true; it's a gorgeous, engrossing game IMO that I only played through once. Was really hoping to do another long play through with a next-gen-ish upgrade. Rockstar needs to instead focus on how they will bend everyone over with GTA 6 Online

This is only $15 for Black Friday, I think I’ll finally buy it.

I picked this back up over the summer and am almost done with final epilogue. A legendary game. Just masterful stuff.

lol I bought this a year ago and haven’t played it. I think the issue was that BG3 came out for the Xbox right after the sale.

I really wish they would pay it proper attention and release some kind of major PS5 remaster-ish patch. Still one of the most gorgeous games to date that could really benefit from a little higher frame rate. This motivates me to pick it back up. It's been several years now since I last played

The framerate really doesn't bother me. The cinematic nature of the landscapes and cutscenes work well in 30 fps, IMO. Sure, a patch would be nice but I think it's the rare game where I would choose the fidelity mode.

I just started a replay, my first since spending over 100 hours with it back in 2018/19. I remember why I loved it so much. I was worried I'd have trouble getting back into it, it's very chill and slow compared to what I've been playing lately but I'm now officially ensconced in its world again

I still fondly remember more than a few of the quests from this game and I haven't played it since 2019.

I'm in the exact same place right now. I've been going hard on a bunch of FromSoft games lately so I wanted a cozy game to relax to and i'd been seeing a lot of RDR2 things in my social feeds that awoke the nostalgia for the game. I'd logged about 200 hours but haven't touched the game since 2019. It does take some getting used to the pace after Sekiro, but i'm managing. I just did a mission that took me pretty far from the first camp, and then I got sidetracked on a stranger quest that took me even further and now i'm spending 20 minutes galloping across a good chunk of the map to get back to camp

The best feeling.
