Dark Souls: Prepare to Die Edition (PC) is the best game of the lot, but you kinda had to be there. It's absurd, cryptic and unforgiving. The aimlessness and uncertainty is everything. You have to piece together this medieval fantasy fever dream while hanging on for dear life. It's so difficult that it will eventually make you hate yourself for ever having picked it up, and for ever contemplating giving in.
Best game ever.
