yeah, i really wish that dude would just vanish
You might get your wish. Do we know if there's guaranteed money in the contract he signed?

Jon Gruden might be the best thing that ever happened to the AFC West.

I have no idea what to expect from the Cards this season.
I can see the O being explosive AF and them winning 10 or 11 games.
I can also see them winning 2 or 3 games.
Even without Pat Pete for the first 6 games, I think the D is gonna fine.
One thing is for sure, that offense is gonna fun.

I'm a little worried about how KK will use Fitz. I've seen too many bubble screens with him. He needs to drag across the middle and use his route running and length.

Atlanta has lost 11 straight pre-season games.

New XFL team names announced. Part of why I'm not interested is that with these secondary leagues, they try to name them "edgy", but it just sounds like a bad arena football team name. Anyway:

Dallas Renegades.
Houston Roughnecks.
Los Angeles Wildcats.
New York Guardians.
St. Louis BattleHawks.
Seattle Dragons.
Tampa Bay Vipers.
Washington Defenders.

In all honesty, who here thinks that top 3 QB of all time is legitimately in the reasonable range of outcomes for Patrick Mahomes?

Also, are we jumping the gun? He's played two seasons and we are talking about him overtaking Marino, Montana, or Brady?

This is what I'm saying. Being a Chiefs fan and tuning into the overall fan discourse is crazy right now. I'm honestly curious what people outside of the fanbase think of Mahomes. Right now.

To me it's the same kind of hype that was around RG III. But another great season will definitely make me think he's in the top tier of current QB's

:nice:

He's such a different kind of player/passer than RG3 but I take your point. Obviously, I love the kid. He's easy to root for. But people in KC are losing their goddamn minds.
