assuming that mym is the music starting at around the 1min mark of the 2013 tour video clip, what is that drum/cymbal noise/technique that starts at the 1:12 mark? matt cameron does this shit all the time live and it drives me up the wall...why the fuck does he over use that technique?

Yeah, I posted about that somewhere in this or the other thread. He's hitting 1/4 notes on the bell of the ride cymbal. It's a technique used often in progressive/metal music.
