Meh. Box Office numbers are meaningless with inflation. Especially opening weekend numbers that differ in total markets. None of that really matters. Will it be a satisfying conclusion to all the build up? That's the far more important question and meaningful rubric.

Presales are very strong. If my old man dad is wanting to see it in the theater on opening night, it’s a big deal

I agree box office is meaningless.

But meaning is attached by most of not all big American media outlets in all forms.
Sad but true. That’s the measure of success regardless of the films quality or lack of.

Oh, I’m hoping it’ll be a good movie. There’s no real reason it won’t be. The Russos have a proven track record with me with the Marvel movies, so my expectations are pretty high.


I would say that a movie wouldn’t be hugely popular if it was bad, but Avatar/ Titanic...

I saw a Tweet earlier that was "Avengers: Endgame Rotten Tomatoes Score Revealed!" and I wanted to vomit. I mean fuck all the way off with that shit.
