Right?!? I knew he was good, but damn! And they were doing those twin parts like they’ve been playing them together for years.

ShoalsFest returns to McFarland Park in Florence, Alabama, October 3 – 4, 2026. The two-day music festival will feature two headlining performances from Jason Isbell and the 400 Unit, with Isbell also teaming up with Drive-By Truckers to perform Decoration Day in its entirety.

Jason Isbell is one of the best artists we have. He's amazing and if you haven't seen him live (in any configuration) I highly recommend it. The dude is for real and a national treasure.

Indeed, if he stops nearby I may break my retirement for the gig.
