Hill House, Bly Manor, and Midnight Mass are glorious. I will fight to the death and come back to haunt you on that one.
But I do see the risk of him falling into a dull comfort zone with the whole "social trauma causes ghosts" theme and the sputtering out at the end of Midnight Club is worrisome.

I really hope Flanagan breaks from tradition and gives us a second season of Midnight Club; I feel like he could wrap it up in two, but if he doesn't I still loved the whole thing

i love Flanagan. I love his films and series. This one felt a little half baked and long but i still would watch a second season.

So what's the final consensus on Hellraiser and Halloween Ends, guys?

I like them both.
The Hellraiser one felt safer. Halloween Ends will be very divisive for the fans.

I started watching "Matriarch", found it kinda silly, and turned it off before Kate Dickie shows up; anyone seen it? is it worth trying again?

Watched that movie X. All I could think of was Spike Jonze dressed up as an old lady on Jackass. Kinda took the tension out of the movie lol.

Just saw Pearl, it was great. Doesn´t really work as a standalone film, but that X/Pearl experiment is something for the ages. What a great year this 2022 turn out to be for horror.
Terrifier 2 and Bones and All, you´re next!

What the fuck did they tried to make with all the fantasy stuff? Appreciate the effort and the gore, but ultimately didn´t like it. Also, too fuckin long. Keep it simple!

I started watching "The Innocents", I'm half way through and there's lots to like about it but I know I'm gonna feel 2 hours was too long
