While you're at it, you might as well say "good job refs"

That was some of the worst officiating I have ever seen.

Seahawks recover blocked punt for a TD but they call it a safety
Tate gets called for offensive PI when he didn't even touch the guy
Rice gets mugged on the last drive - no call
Browner gets flagged on a throw that wasn't catchable
No call against Reggie Wayne for offensive PI on a couple of plays including the 2 point conversion

Yes I'm a Seahawks fan , but I have seen a few national sportswriters bring up the officiating from this game.

Can't argue with that. Not so much the simultaneous possession (debatable), but the blatant push in the back by Tate.

However, there were some bad calls against the Seahawks earlier including a horrible 3rd down PI call against Kam Chancellor on the second Packers TD drive.

But of course all everybody remembers is the "Fail Mary" play at the end of the game.

People that are shitting on Matt Ryan this season remind me of the same people doubting Joe Flacco last season.

I can't believe the Falcons are down to the Jets by two touchdowns at home. We all knew it was going to have to be the offense to win games so you can't be too mad at the defense. Yes, the injury bug has bit bad this season but ugh, this is awful. This is the team I grew up with.
I'm going to listen to Lightning Bolt again.

It's like whatever cosmic karma Atlanta has had with the football gods the past few seasons has gone into reverse.

Yeah Dirk Koetter in year two can eat a bag of dicks, because he's been fucking brutal, but Thomas Dimitroff shouldn't have a job this morning.

They've spent in excess of 150-175 million on offensive skill positions. Dimitroff, couldn't find a player on the line of scrimmage if God himself delivered them to Flowery Branch.

Matt Ryan has been bad all year, but a big part of it, is a fucking brutal, pathetic group of shitsacks that the aformentioned russian douchebag thought could play.

Dimitroff is the architect of this garbage team.

Mike Nolan is working with less than nothing...again, Thomas Dimitroff.

But back to Dirk.... no downfield plays whatsoever until the 4th. Didn't even try, what did he do? He let Garrett Reynolds continuously embarass himself over and over, kept splitting guys out, didn't go to max protect until the 2nd quarter and even then, Joe Hawley as TE was a disaster (see 5 downs inside the 10 at the end of the 2nd quarter) Nice one Dirk. Great effort there.

I'm totally cool with blowing out the GM and all the advanced scouting staff right now, this year is done anyway and I don't want those guys making even one more pick.

He's unquestionably worse than Peyton, Brady, Rodgers, and Brees. I would put him behind Eli, Big Ben, and Ryan as well. Luck is also rising up the list quickly, and RG3 might if he gets healthy. Romo would compete for me with the likes of Cutler/Stafford/Wilson/Kaepernick.
Agreed on the top 4 obviously. I think he's better than Eli now and always. The peak of Big Ben might have been better, but Romo has easily been better than him the last 2-3 years and it's not close. Matt Ryan would be probably 7-8ish on my list, so I agree that they're close. I'd put Romo as the best non-great QB today, with Luck right there, and Luck will certainly pass him soon and join the group of great QBs.

Matt Ryan is Brees circa San Diego right now. Not sure if I believe he can win a championship or really carry a team. He really doesn't bring much physically to the table and the intangibles honestly are wearing thin and getting a little tiresome and boring.

He's kind of a boring guy, but Flacco has a championship. Matt Ryan has a shitload of money, and nothing of substance.

He's just good enough to lose close, same issue with Tony Romo and both have horrible defenses.

Ryan has better judgement, and virtually no athletic ability.

If the Falcons would go up tempo Matt would be much better, but Dirk....is fucking Dirk, basically an offensive coordinator who used to work for Jacksonville, where offense goes to die.

Losing close, is probably Matt Ryan's career tombstone, so maybe his sons will be good like Archie Manning.

Great. There goes my fantasy team. I also had CJ, and I'm not sure when he'll be 100%, if ever.
