Sometimes.
Some years they sell out in minutes, other years they hang around for a while. This is a pretty killer line-up, though, so I'm thinking it'll be the former rather than the latter.
Cheers spenno. They don't give you much time to sort your shit, do they? E-mail at 7pm, pre-sale 14 hours later. Chances are if I hadn't wandered to this thread I would have only read the e-mail as the pre-sale was starting.
I see "General Pants" (whatever that is) and probably other fan clubs are having pre-sales tomorrow too. Best I try and snaffle a pair of tix "just in case". The wife won't notice a sneaky $330 on the credit card for at least a few weeks.
I was thinking it was short notice too. Sucks a bit. i just ran it past the wife and I'm credit carding it up too. i can fix the other details later

At $185 a pop looks like I'll just be going to the Gold Coast.
I can't see anywhere where it says just one ticket. The GC show says choose how many tickets you want. Am I missing something?

Sydney says same. Not sure what the limit is but singles appear possible. If not then you can always flip one.

Imagine the bogans at the Australia Day BDO in Sydney. Awful.
Bummed at no side shows and no chance to use 10c tickets. But must look on the bright side.

Yeah, really. Oh poor me! I don't get an non-festival shows! True story: my dad used to have a pet dingo that rode with him on his motorbike. Completely illegal in more than one way, but he got away with it.

As far as sideshows go - I know it says that this is the only opportunity to see them, but is it possible they're in some type of contract that they can't announce any till after BDO tickets have gone on sale - to stop people flagging BDO in favour of a sideshow, and some will be announced later?
