Setlist:
1. Mellon Collie and the Infinite Sadness (over PA)
2. The Aeroplane Flies High
3. Jellybelly
4. Tonight, Tonight
5. Rhinoceros
6. Here Is No Why
7. Zero
8. Fuck You
9. Porcelina of the Vast Oceans > Rocket (partial)
10. 1979
11. Thirty-three
12. Bullet with Butterfly Wings
13. Muzzle
14. Disarm
15. Thru the Eyes of Ruby

encore 1:
16. Jumping Jack Flash [The Rolling Stones] (tease)
17. X.Y.U.

encore 2:
18. Drown > Hummer (tease)
19. (blues jam) > Tribute to Johnny (tease) > Mouths Of Babes (tease) > God (tease) > Tristessa (tease)
20. Cherub Rock

encore 3:
21. Silverfuck > Space Jam

It will melt your brain if you love the Pumpkins. My remastered recording is not the greatest thing ever, but it's nice and crunchy. The "Here Is No Why" solo is orgasmic.
Yes please to uploading a remaster whenever you're ready as this has my favourite aeroplane flies high ever. What makes you say it runs fast btw? Can't say I'd ever noticed.

I had a suspicion it ran fast so I cross-checked several songs against other recordings from that tour, plus the studio versions; yes, this show ran like 2.5% fast.

It's being reported that the original lineup is reuniting, though I'm not sure where they're getting that if this is all Corgan said: https://www.mix.com.au/music/news/origi ... o-reunite/

It's the top trending topic on Facebook right now. As a fan that has never seen them live, I sure hope it is true. I will definitely go if they come to my neck of the woods.

I post this here at least once every few months, but if you're a fan and you've never listened to this show, well, you're missing out on something immensely great: https://archive.org/details/tsp1997-01-08.rework.flac16

This show is so good it's on a shortlist for my all-time desert island album.
Downloading now, looking forward to this. I'm not a massive SP fan yet still have all their albums and a lot of their b-sides/demos etc. Oddly, my favourite material is probably the Aeroplane Flies High box. Love that stuff.

i can't take credit for, sadly, but it has replaced the official album art in my digital players.

Did the Machina reissue ever get released? The last album I heard was Adore. I need to make a compilation of all of the unreleased stuff from these reissues. Probably enough for a proper album (or three).

I'd love a comp like that. I love that there is so much content on those reissues but it seems very disorganized.

Machina hasn't been reissued yet, I don't think.

Machina is not reissued yet.

I still have to get Pisces Iscariot.

Definitely - the track listing seems off to me. Also, they include lots of instrumentals (which is fine) but a 5+ in a row can get a bit tiring.

I listened to SP recently, it was the first time in a long, long time. They were such a great band. One of my favorites of the '90s for sure.

smashingpumpkins.com was recently updated to display the classic heart logo - it previously forwarded to corgan's smashingpumpkinsnexus.com - and the social media icons all changed to that logo as well. additionally, an msg 96 poster was, uh, posted shortly after.

something's afoot.
