We’ll wed have a pretty great film at number one global biggest box office takings instead of, Yknow, avatar.

There are 4 more Avatar movies coming anyway, and who know how many more Avengers movie coming.

We are doomed.

It's best not to think about such things

Why's he give a shit about places where he doesn't live? Why didn't he just go back in time and kill half of his own planet's population back when he originally had the idea?

The last ten minutes received multiple gasps and "What?!"s from the crowd.

I thought Cate Blanchett would make an appearance as the godess of death, based on the comics.

Even though I know there will be a Spider Man sequel, Tom Holland's last scene absolutely gave me a bit of a lump in my throat.

I'm 99.99999% sure Dr. Strange's decision to give Thanos the time gem will play into everyone coming back to life, but it was a fun two and a half hours.
My son said they were talking about the movie yesterday and someone brought up the fact there were more movies coming. I told him so what, it could be set before this movie so everyone could still be dead. Heck, they contract people for multiple movies and then never make a sequel. There's all kinds of reasons that it won't happen the way you think. That doesn't mean it won't, but it can help restore some mystique to it.
Interesting idea, it def. gives the "I know about you" line a different meaning.
That is somewhat similar to the conversation I had with my wife after seeing it:
Spoiler: show
Had they been able to do all this pre-internet, those deaths would have been much more of a gut punch/stunner along the lines of Ned Stark's Death/Red Wedding. But because we all know about contracts and pictures in development, while initially shocking, I quickly realized most of the deaths, if not all would be reversed. She said something along the lines of "Maybe they're faking you out and they're different movies." I just scoffed at her. But you have an interesting take and it would be cool if you're right. I liked the movie and don't want to say it cheapens anything but like I said, the shock was pretty short lived.
Also, I like that theory about Thanos and Ultron. The "I'll do this myself" line in the post credits scene never made total sense to me. I always wondered why the Sokovia situation set him off.

So
Spoiler: show
theres a reference to Captain Marvel earlier in the film? It's when the Guardians bring Thor aboard the Guardians ship The Benatar, yes it's replaced the Milano, but here's the reference & how it ties in Captain Marvel.

I doubt I'm right: I was just giving a 12-year-old ammo for a conversation at school. Sorry.

Did we talk about the conversation between Stark and Strange where Strange said,
Spoiler: show
"If it comes down to you or the stone, I'm saving the stone." and then he goes and saves Tony instead?
Because that's going to be interesting.

Spoiler: show
My understanding is that when strange looked into the future the one scenario when they win requires Thanos to complete the gauntlet, which he didn't know before

The girl behind me got absolutely rocked by the death of Spiderman (we're not spoilering anymore are we?). I couldn't get mad b/c I got chastised earlier in the movie by someone else for being too loud while answering my kids' questions about the movie.

My son afterwards said that was the part where he almost cried. He also reacted to Red Skull's appearance, though that one confused me because we haven't watched that movie in years.
