Zelenskyy was impressive last night. He's a great ambassador for his people.

McCarthy sucks, but this is a win.

they are both still there, so it's 49-49 without them. Seems about the same unless you can play them off each-other somehow.

Matters mostly for committees and procedure stuff but not party-line votes:
--All committees were to have an equal number of Democrats and Republicans.
--Committee budgets and office space were to be evenly distributed between the Democratic and Republican offices.
--In the event that a committee vote was tied, the majority and minority leaders would both have the option to call for the full Senate to consider the vote.
--The majority and minority leaders were required to work together to determine a legislative agenda.
--Senators from both parties, rather than just the majority party, were permitted to preside over the body.
--Both parties were given equal access to common areas in the Capitol complex for press conferences and meetings

Really bizarre situation. I think Paul's getting hit with that hammer regardless of what goes down, just lucky he was able to keep that guy calm so he doesn't get wailed on before the cops show up. Dispatcher 1/10.

I'm behind on that story. Who is the guy with the hammer? Does he know the Pelosis?

Pelosi looks drunk, or like he thinks he's being punk'd. Whole thing is so odd and creepy.
Supposedly he didn't wake up until DePape went into his room, so maybe his house is so big he couldn't hear the windows getting broken or mayhaps he had some chemical assistance with sleeping.

It's pretty easy to go after congressmen in their houses. No security or anything. Just making an observation here. Nothing beyond that.

Nancy has a Capitol Police detail that travels with her. No home protection when she's out of town.

It was reported at the time. I think the Capitol Police was understandably trying to explain why this was not an oversight on their part (they are detailed to protect Nancy, not Paul or their home).

ok, but be honest...you knew it before the public report, right?
I don't know nothin' bout nothin'.

A dude of Paul Pelosi's net worth probably should have private security tho.
