He and Tormund are going to try and capture a wight/White Walker alive and return it to Dragonstone to get Dany's support. It makes sense now that they cut Thorne's trip to King's Landing with the hand from the show.

Comparing Cersei to Robb (making all the right tactical moves, surprising everyone with her acumen) doesn't bode well for her.

Yeah I didn't like that at all. Seems like getting you skin peeled off would require a little recovery time at least.

Overall it was a 'meh' episode. Classic middle of the season one.

I have a feeling Khaleesi is about to wreck shit with some dragons (and Dothraki) though. She won't be taking advice for long.

Thorne is still sent to KL in the show with the hand. They just never actually show that trip.

Thorne is still sent to KL in the show with the hand. They just never actually show that trip.

I think you're right; for some reason, I thought he was sent to East Watch or something.

Also thought the grey scale recovery time was a bit ridiculous, then had to remind myself that I'm watching a fantasy show. Also got confused as someone else mentioned by the transition from Grey Worm to Elena. But other than that, thought it was a great episode. Enjoying the shit out of this season so far. Can't expect every episode to be full of epic battles and huge deaths but they really aren't bullshitting around so far.

not sister but nephew. Rheagar was Dany's brother.

The only thing from last night's episode that is really bothering me is that Jamie seems to be totally on board with Queen Cersei now. Hopefully Olena rekindled the doubts he had about her.

I think he doubled-down on Cersei because Euron seems like a threat--he thinks he can actually lose her. He gets his most Cersei-est when he's worried he'll never see her again, like when he killed his cousin as a prisoner. His devotion for her rises and falls, bu it's going to take something big for him to break from her.

Yes; Jon's father was Rhaegar Targaryen, Dany's brother. The Mad King was Jon's grandfather.
