TBF, the show has never explicitly stated that Rhaegar is Jon's father; really, we only **know** that Lyanna is his mother.

dime's point about Littlefinger and Bran is a good one. Littlefinger likes to imagine every possible scenario that's occurring so he'll never be surprised. Bran can see everything that's going on, so he's never surprised. If Littlefinger finds out, he'll almost certainly try to exploit him.

I would enjoy Littlefinger trying to exploit Bran. That shit will backfire in spectacular fashion.

True, but no character on the show ever has. They're saving actually verbalizing it for a big dramatic moment.

Ext. Winterfell - the Godswood

Jon: "What are you saying?"

Bran: "I'm saying that you're not my brother--"

Jon: "You'll always be my brother."

Bran: "But father's not your father, Jon. Rhaegar...our Aunt Lyanna...(Music swells)Jon, you're a Stark...and a Targaryen. A wolf and...and a dragon. Ice...and...ice and fire."

Obviously, just pointing out in the world that the show inhabits it's a thing confirmed by HBO.

I want those people to suffer and I want their enterprises to fail.

Yeah, that was a goddamn great episode. This scene is firing on all cylinders. And I goddamn love it. Those Dany/Jon scenes were so effective and strong. I love this show.

I'm thinking we'll get a flashback of Rheagar via Bran at some point this season.

I don't, i think that westeros thinks it's the coolest weapon in the land.

I think the rail gun and the nailgun from the old Quake games were the coolest weapons in the land. Loved those things.

I think so too. I bet it covers a "secret wedding" legitimizing Jon as the rightful Targaryean heir.

I need to re-watch the opening scenes and the final scene. Both were very well done and I was legitimately concerned they would drop the ball with the Dany/Jon first encounter.

Really enjoyed last night's episode. Cersei is doing some damage... All of Dany's Westerosi allies are toast. It's time for the dragons to level the playing field.. :P Can't wait to see the reunion between Jorah and Dany!

I've always found Jorah to be super creepy in this regard. I'm not looking forward to it at all.

Here's a flashback I've seen theorized that could confirm things without having to show Rhaegar (I'd prefer if he remains offscreen):
Spoiler: show
Ned walks into the Tower of Joy holding Dawn, the ancestral sword of House Dayne (Dayne was the guy Howland Reed stabbed in the back). It's known that Ned visited the Dayne castle to return the sword, but besides that not much is known--without giving too many details, there are many secrets there that could be unraveled.

Agreed, Jorah is sort of a fuck boy, always assuming that Dany will eventually decide to love him. I'm surprised his note from the Citadel to her didn't say "I'm rock hard 4 u...send nudes."

When she refuses him and marries Jon we're gonna have a second littlefinger on our hands.

Also it was sooooo weird that Littlefinger said his thing about everything happening at once then Bran repeating it to her. Is he trying to show her he's for real?
Yes; Jon's father was Rhaegar Targaryen, Dany's brother. The Mad King was Jon's grandfather.
Finally a moment to use "AILF"
