Add some pickle juice to your mixture. A half a cup. Will keep it moist during cooking

Just braised an entire head of cabbage with some crispy bacon, a yellow onion, apple cider vinegar, a little chicken broth, and some salt and pepper.
Gonna squeeze some whole grain mustard all over it for dinner tonight and live life.
