There was a report of US based “contractors” supporting the Israeli withdrawal over the last few weeks, so it’s not impossible, but putting occupying US troops in Gaza is probably the single worst policy idea one could think of right now short of directly attacking Russia or China

It seems like this administration is more chaotic than the first go-round.

That’s a big part of it. But there seems to be incompetence throughout the White House and executive agencies. Seems bigger than just Trump. The federal funding freeze fiasco showed nobody is talking to each other before making decisions.

So, we should take it in context. It's been less than three weeks and more major change has been done than the previous five to eight years. There are going to be fails as it's the "move fast break things" approach, and I'd bet a bunch of these EOs will get undone over the next 6 months, but it's not like 2016 where Trump's team was unprepared for what resistance would look like and they had half the red team working against them. This time they knew what to expect and who to go after first.

you are actually applauding a president who knew what to expect and who to go after first. let that sink in

a president shouldnt go after anyone. thats the sign of a total psychopath who can not fathom other people think differently

I am pointing out an observed difference in their operational methods, neither applauding or condemning.

This is genuinely funny.
Bi and Burt have been pointlessly shitbombing every Star Wars thread (and every thread!) for a few years now and they never even engage in the subject be it film or show, they just post whatever their agenda is constantly and nonstop. Unchecked I may add.

Now Bi is upset we’re on his lawn.

Lol.

I am certainly impressed by the speed and scale of what they've done and I suspect that many people who are angry about it are just angry that Obama and Biden didn't do this first. But, yeah, I am in favor of making our southern border like the Israeli/Egypt/Gaza border. I am in favor seeking out and deporting any illegal who commits a crime (in addition to the illegal crossing). I am in favor of ending birth-right citizenship for those on visa violations or those who engage in 'birth tourism'. I am in favor of ripping every equity-based discriminatory quota, implied or otherwise, from the law books. I am in favor of having algorithms go line-by-line through the federal budget looking for ways to roll us back to pre-Pandemic spending levels. I believe we should be taking action to remove entrenched bureaucrats from federal service if they are shown to have acted with politically motivated bias. And after having work in the space my whole career, we could easily cut 10% of the federal workforce without risking security or social stability. I also believe this is being attempted in a reckless and unprofessional manner which diminishes the service of the majority of the federal government and will surely have blowback for the red team in a few years. With a vengeance.

Let me give you a relatable example. I believe that you have correctly observed that the "woke" mindset has stunted the US culturally, economically, and technologically over the last decade. Not the only cause, but the big one. I think this is something we both agree on. Recognizing that woke holds that level of destructive power, does it maybe make sense to promote it in some cases? Do you think DOGE spent time asking about the 'why' all this money is flowing like it is/was? Or do you think they just found "trans" in a regex and cut that program? The point is how justice is done matters.

do you honestly believe the liberal woke mindset is more destructive than the Maga mindset?
