I'm guessing these were errors of some sort or testing sales on a very limited stock. I bet these retailers officially announce pre-orders prior to them opening.

Opening them in the middle of the night is just a reason to piss off your customers and reward bots/scalpers.

I'm more mad about not receiving the notification emails, than not getting a preorder.

Sounds like GameStop, Toys R Us, and Target's pre-orders will go live today.

The Canadian store posted on Twitter that information. I'm guessing that is when some other retailers will put them up for sale based on Gamestop's unusual web site behavior right now.

I had it purchased before I got the Tracker notification. I was logged into and refreshing Gamestop, Target, Toysrus.com and Walmart. I refreshed at the right time.
