Finished up Love Life. On balance, I enjoyed the fuck out of that. Anna Kendrick is so present and honest. She doesn't get enough credit.

I have a visceral reaction to advertising and promotion. There's just something about salesmanship that grates on me on a very base level and I react very negatively towards it. I want those people to suffer and I want their enterprises to fail.

Finished Ozark and Fuller House. Nothing worth watching on Sportscenter and RM can only give me so much, so I’mma jump back in to Curb.

She’s also appeared on a handful of charting albums, and published a book with Simon & Schuster.

Her credit is commensurate to her talents.
Net worth is irrelevant but since you brought it up, that seems pretty fucking low for a person with the resume you just presented.

Those awards/nominations are at least a decade old.

I'm a huge fan and I haven't read her book. Those albums are probably all soundtracks to musicals, no? Let's not act like she's some kind of pop star.

But all that aside, I certainly don't hear anyone talk about Anna Kendrick when they talk about best actors working. That's where she's not getting enough credit. And maybe she gets more among peers and industry professionals? I don't know. But either way that sentiment isn't shared (that I see) among audiences.

Hell, you went out of your way to research just how wrong you think I am. You clearly disagree and want me to know it. That's fairly good evidence for my side.

Im enjoying Love Life for what it is, and Anna is good there. And im going to make the same observation i did earlier, im surprised her career got kinda ..stopped. She is doing lots of tv shows that dont make any kind of impression, she is doing voice work, and not making new movies.

Is maybe because she seems to chose always the same characters?

As present as she is in her performances and as honest and attentive as the work is, range is definitely not a word I'd use to define Anna Kendrick, that's true.

But what she lacks in breadth she more than makes up for in depth. And to that end, I still hold she doesn't get enough credit.

Maybe because people right off her projects as "light" as though that in and if itself is a detriment, maybe that's why her ability is b often overlooked and/or underappreciated.

I feel she could be better or maybe tried to get involved in more comedies that arent romantic or similar. And i hope she gets the chance to do a dramatic role too.

We watched the first episode of I May Destroy You. Not quite sure what all the hype is about, I'm interested to see a few more but the wife is out.

Heard this from enough people who's opinion I respect that I'll definitely keep watching. First episode just didn't really excite me in any way, or feel like anything different. But, I felt the same way for the first couple eps of Fleabag, so ya never know.
