They don't wanna have to watch that shit anymore than I do. Bulls are looking like a lottery team. I could honestly see them as a 7 or 8 seed. It's so totally Derrick Rose that as he is rounding into actual NBA starter form (although bad tonight) the team around him has crumbled.

Considering how bunched the East is they could easily be the 7th or 8th seed by the time Butler comes back.

I'd prefer they just miss the playoffs really. Fred will get absolutely embarrassed trying to coach a seven game series. Best case scenario for the bulls is they miss the playoffs, fire garpax and King's get in. But realistically the bulls will end up in basketball hell with like 43 wins and that King's team doesn't play enough defense for the bulls to get their pick. Luol Deng will have died for nothing .

What exactly is the pick situation, protected first?

Lottery protected. King's are about to fire Karl. I doubt things get better from there.

I mean...at least I get to watch Lebron lose another finals. The Warriors could have a realistic chance at sweeping him, making it even more delicious than last year.

As for the warriors. If they break the wins record it wouldn't be the end of the world. The Bulls need to stop living in the past. Even in the darkest days post dynasty the fans filled every seat. The trophies, the Jordan statue. The nostalgia is enough for yearly financial championships regardless of the product. It's a recipe for mediocrity because at the end of the day revenue is all that matters to Reinsdorf.

The perception of the Bulls as a contender for the last 7 or 8 years was based solely on lucking into the top pick and drafting Derrick Rose. When he blew out his knee it was over. Pre ACL Rose was the only force strong enough to overcome the cancer that is this franchise's front office. Not even a stubborn ox like Thibs could do it....he was ultimately fired for non basketball reasons.

How many times has Kurt Rambis been an interim head coach?

Way too many. He is straight trash as a coach.

Rose out tonight with 'general body soreness' with Butler already out. So gutless...I just keep telling myself only one more season of this shit....

You know I have no love for Rose, but with his injury history shouldn't he be cautious?

I suppose if he had knee tendinitis or a hamstring issue you could give him a break but general body soreness? When your best player is out with a legit knee injury? The other guys on this team have been stepping in for years for him and he can't return the favor? Its gutless.

Sometimes I wonder if he has a substance abuse problem. There is so much weirdness that surrounds him and his behavior.

If they were playing well, you would not care about him taking a night off. It's a game in February. Honestly, who cares? The last game of a long road trip.

If i told you that Rose was going to play 71 games this season (which is is on pace for), you would be ecstatic.

Let's not overreact to Rose getting a night off because the Bulls are playing terrible right now.

Fat fuck Windhorst says Bulls want to resign pau for 20 mil a year. Could be posturing from the FO but I could also see them being stupid enough...
